Tudilhiłhinshłii. Shii Dishchiidn ba ninshtii. Born on the San Carlos Apache reservation in Arizona. An enrolled member of the San Carlos Apache tribe. Married to Dr. Vanessa Anthony-Stevens. Daughters are Carmen and Hazel.


Dr. Stevens' research interests are in the field of Apache mathematics, educational pedagogical disconnects between dominant cultures and Indian communities, “educational raiding”, and the cultural values imparted through the educational process.
