Tudilhiłhinshłii. Shii Dishchiidn ba ninshtii. Born on the San Carlos Apache reservation in Arizona. An enrolled member of the San Carlos Apache tribe. Married to Dr. Vanessa Anthony-Stevens. Daughters are Carmen and Hazel.
Dr. Stevens' research interests are in the field of Apache mathematics, educational pedagogical disconnects between dominant cultures and Indian communities, “educational raidingâ€, and the cultural values imparted through the educational process.
