Biography & Scholarship

Michael McGriff is the author of several books, including works of poetry, fiction, and literary translation, many of which are centered on the intersection of place, surrealism, poverty, and the American West. Notably, he has translated the poetry of Swedish Nobel laureate Tomas Tranströmer and edited a volume of the essential works of Canadian writer and translator David Wevill.
