Biography & Scholarship

The first area of my research interest lies in competitive dynamics. I examine the effects of corporate governance on firms’ competitive behavior. My research also contributes to strategic entrepreneurship by investigating the role of specialization and network effects on survival in technology-based competition and decision-making in entrepreneurial teams. The second area of my research interest focuses on research methods, specifically studying model selection bias in event history analysis. My recent work in research methods has led to a U.S. patent.
