Learn how to plan, establish and care for windbreaks, shelterbelts and living snow fences in this 48-page booklet. Along with covering windbreak design, the authors (two foresters) discuss how to incorporate plants to support wildlife habitat and survey windbreak species characteristics (like shrubs, deciduous trees and evergreens), among many more topics. Color photographs, diagrams and tabular data provide helpful aids.
