Abstract
Western Russet is a multipurpose potato variety released in 2004 by the USDA-ARS and the agricultural experiment stations of Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Based on a two-year study conducted at the University of Idaho Kimberly Research and Extension Center's Potato Storage Research Facility in southern Idaho, this publication details the optimal storage conditions for the Western Russet, along with storage management recommendations.
