Abstract
Irrigated pastures in southern Idaho are primarily composed of grasses or grass-legume mixtures. An entry in the southern Idaho Fertilizer Guide series, this five-page publication explains the nutrient management strategies that will ensure a long-lived, high-producing irrigated pasture. Topics covered are nutrient distribution and cycling in grazed pastures, soil testing in pastures, plant tissue testing, and general observations and recommendations.
