Abstract
Providing optimal levels of nutrients is critical for achieving competitive bean seed yields especially since beans tend to react to micronutrient deficiencies and toxicities more than other crops do. An entry in the southern Idaho Fertilizer Guide series, this seven-page publication provides fertilizer recommendations for commercial dry and garden beans grown under southern Idaho conditions. The strategies offered should meet the needs of a typical bean field.
