Abstract
Pregnancy testing in beef cattle is a tool that optimizes heifer management and identifies candidates for culling or removal from the herd. Some methods of pregnancy detection also provide additional information regarding a beef herd and help producers make informed management and business decisions.This updated publication explains various testing methods, as well as when and how they should be done for best cow and herd management.
