Abstract

short-season-high-altitude gardens plant-diseases
Peppers are difficult to grow if you garden or farm at high elevations (above 4000 feet). This publication will help you to improve the odds by choosing the best type of soil; implementing season extension techniques; and knowing about the best-adapted peppers, the value of transplanting indoors and proper pest/disease control. Soon you'll be successfully growing and harvesting peppers at high altitudes.
