Abstract

dairy-cattle animals Agriculture - Animals & Livestock Agriculture
"Rules for the Control of Ammonia from Dairy Farms," established by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality in 2006, requires Idaho dairy farms that may emit more than 100 tons of ammonia per year from their facility to obtain a Permit by Rule (PBR). This publication outlines all ammonia control best management practices recognized by DEQ to help dairy owners legally satisfy a PBR.
