Companies are increasingly substituting biodegradable plastics for regular plastics, given their environmental and socioeconomic benefits. The agricultural industry is no exception. Learn more about the economic and marketing trends regarding its use in agriculture in this literature review. Includes discussion about trends influencing its use as mulch and its subsequent effect on crop quality and other agricultural production factors, like weed control, water use efficiency, and soil temperature.
