Abstract

It is demonstrated that the nitroimine functionality acts as an intramolecular locking unit that restricts NH2 motion in tetrazine frameworks. This structural constraint suppresses molecular motion and modulates thermal stability, establishing a framework-level strategy for controlling reactive molecular systems. This study shifts energetic-material design from substituent-centric optimization toward connectivity-driven conformational control.
