Abstract
Using data from the 2021 Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership (MSL), we explored the relationships between college students’ levels of basic needs insecurity and perceptions of belonging and campus climate. The results indicated a statistically significant (p < .05) and negative relationship between these constructs—and additional negative associations when accounting for racial identity.
