Abstract
This work, programmatic in nature, was written as a musical recounting of memories and times of my grandfather who passed away after a battle with bone cancer. Both he and my grandmother played a prominent role in getting me into piano lessons upon hearing me play by ear, even providing my first piano. I am eternally grateful for my grandparents and their support of my musical pursuit. Included are the scores for each movement of the symphony inclusive of the overture, totaling six movements. Also included is the melodic reduction and choral score for a unison hymn arrangement for the fourth movement.
