Abstract

short stories Fiction
The stories in this collection are both varying and similar in focus. While the protagonists differ in age and in the specific challenges they face, each one is, in some way, attempting to negotiate or understand or fill a role within his or her family. Collectively, these stories are an exploration of familial relationships--between parents and children, between siblings, between lovers and spouses--and of the delicate tensions that run through these relationships.
