Abstract
Discuss the trend of dual enrollment in higher education, the challenges and opportunities it presents for information literacy instruction, and how academic librarians can leverage new and existing practices, resources, and relationships to conduct outreach to this unique and growing population. Objective 1: What opportunities and challenges do librarians encounter or anticipate when delivering library resources to dual-enrollment students or non-affiliates? Objective 2: How can librarians translate the ACRL Framework in information literacy instruction appropriate for high school students in dual-enrollment courses? Objective 3: How can librarians identify and pursue strategic collaborations with school, public, and state library staff to maximize access to library resources in secondary and post-secondary schools?
