Abstract
In the realm of modern agriculture, farmers across the globe are increasingly adopting smart farming practices, harnessing a wide array of cutting-edge technologies. Notably, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) has permeated various sectors, including agriculture, catalyzing a wave of revolutionary advancements. These digital innovations have brought about transformative changes in agriculture, providing intelligent systems that are capable of monitoring, controlling, and visualizing diverse farm operations in real-time, with a level of intelligence that rivals that of human experts. This chapter delves into the numerous potential applications of IoT and AI in the evolution of smart farm machinery, fertilizer application, irrigation systems, pest and weed control, and more.
