Abstract
This, the text's seventh edition, was approached with the goal of modernizing this textbook for the next generation of law students. Historic content was eliminated, and examples were updated throughout the text. Nonetheless, the seventh edition retains the features that have made it a classic Pretrial Litigation textbook. The text provides students with a realistic simulated lawsuit that provides opportunities for students to gain experience with all aspects of modern Pretrial Litigation. Excerpts from cases and popular nonfiction raise ethical and other real-life lawyering issues. Additionally, the text incorporates the latest changes to the Federal Rules of Evidence.
