Abstract
"Idaho Histories" is an open-access ebook created by University of Idaho faculty Marco Seiferle-Valencia and Rebekka Boysen-Taylor that highlights often-overlooked histories of the University of Idaho, the Palouse region, and Idaho in general, originally developed in collaboration with Moscow middle school students who helped identify what they wanted to learn about Idaho history. The project uses primary archival objects and documents to tell micro-histories that fill out local and regional narratives, with the goal of inspiring educators and lifelong learners to think critically about how history is made and to keep regional histories alive and accessible.
